How do I troubleshoot an issue with alarm notifications?
- Check that "Do Not Disturb" or any other "Focus" mode is turned off. Click here for more information.
- Open your iPhone's settings and click on notifications. Select EyeDropAlarm and confirm that notifications are allowed. Then, click on the banner style and change it from 'Temporary' to 'Persistent.'
- If you have other Apple devices (watch, computer, iPad), your notifications might be going to one of these devices instead of your iPhone. Click here for information on watch settings. Click here for more information on computer settings.
- If the alarm times displayed in the schedule screen are incorrect, it could be due to daylight savings or changing time zones. Try resetting the app so it can adjust your alarms to local time. To reset the app, first clear the app from running in the background and then reopen the app by clicking on the EyeDropAlarm icon.
- Sometimes, the quickest way to resolve the issue is to delete EyeDropAlarm, reboot your iPhone, and then reinstall EyeDropAlarm.
- If you are having trouble hearing the alarm sound, use the ringer volume buttons to increase the volume. Make sure the silent side button is not active. Try selecting one of the 'Longer Sounds' such as 'Uplift.' Open the app's setting screen to change alarm sounds. The alarm sounds in the "Tones" section are from iOS and may work better on some devices.
